As for safety, there are laws relating to environmental protection in place.

Significant fines and potential jail terms will occur for anyone involved in causing, or failing to prevent environmental harm.

For example: If there is a diesel spill when fuelling up a machine in the forest and you do nothing to stop it running into a water way, you will be fined!!  

Environmental damage is significant, but easily preventable.
