Native Flora and Fauna

Reserves around forest plantations are set aside and managed by other organisations.

They are important in maintaining a diverse range of native plants and animals which provide a healthy ecosystem for our children and grandchildren to enjoy (See examples in Fig’s 56a and b).

Damage to these reserves and small patches of native vegetation (conservation zones) should be avoided.

This includes areas such as roadside and native bush land alongside forest plantations.
